Planning to film your first Amazon Product video for your listing and searching for some inspiration?

You’ve come to the right place.

Because what can be better than getting inspiration from already filmed Amazon product videos!

As we’re professional Amazon product video makers, we have quite a large list to choose from, when it comes to such examples.

That’s why we picked 11 Amazon product listing videos to show you how different can such videos be. We hope you find the right inspiration for your product video!

All of these videos are lifestyle videos. Read more about the benefits of such videos in this blog.

1. Include different audiences in one video

Sometimes your product is designed for more than one target audience. If so, you have 2 choices. First, you can film different videos for each audience and put all videos separately in your Amazon listing.

Second, if it’s possible, you can include all audiences in one video. Like here:

The second inspiration you can get from this video – that it’s possible to mix engaging video shots with the product with lifestyle shots. That connects your audience with the brand and product in a much stronger way.

2. Create emotions and strong associations

Some products allow for more associative shots.

You can show how it will feel to use your product with symbolic video shots and a smart use of music in the right moments.

Like in this Amazon listing video:

If your product is like this – the one that you can smell, or that aims to create strong, pleasant feelings for the customer; that is more luxurious – this is the right inspiration for you.

3. Show the product in action

Mostly all of our videos show the products in action.

But this video is a great example of how much you can show, and not tell, about the product.

Each product is different, and for some you can do it, for some you can’t.

But, if it’s possible – it is a great idea to demonstrate how the customer would use the product, in real life.

4. Show how the product is used, step by step

This adorable video shows you step by step how a product is used. That eliminates any doubt from potential buyers that it would be hard to use it.

And it also is adorable to watch a smiling baby.

Of course, not all Amazon product videos can include smiling babies. No matter if your product is similar or not, this is a great inspiration that your Amazon listing video can be as simple as that. Showing how to use the product.

(You’re lucky if your product can include babies in the video though! It’s such a powerful element of the video to connect emotionally 🙂 )

5. Get practical

This is a video that shows the benefits of the product in an environment that the customer will most likely use it.

Home.

And it also includes different scenarios, how the customer would interact with the product at different times of the day.

At the same time it’s pleasant and makes sure the potential customers learn competitive advantages that they most likely have had with alternative products before.

All this practical and convincing information in just 45 seconds! Can you believe it? Yes, with a video it’s possible.

6. Play with different moods and styles

Now, up until now all videos you; ve seen are light, pleasant and happy.

Maybe you watched them and thought – well, my product needs another approach.

No problem! You can play around with more emotions and styles while creating your Amazon product video.

Like here:

A great way to understand your mood for the video is to start with the client. Why is the customer buying your product? Sometimes the customer wants to feel, let’s say, powerful. Then create a video that proves your product will make them feel just that.

That makes them more likely to click the “Buy” button.

7. Show premium quality

Premium quality more often than not is associated with clean, simple, minimalistic shots. If your products are premium, make sure to create a video that represents just that.

Colours, environment, shots, the right voiceover actor and music – it all plays an important part in creating the premium feeling.

At the same time, as you probably noticed in the video, you must always, always include a real human interacting with the product.

8 Use unusual points of view

This is the video where creative meets practical.

By filming the video from a dog’s perspective, the video is more memorable.

It creates an emotional bond with the brand and the product, making the customer more likely to choose this product over others. Or, in some cases, even share the video with their friends, reaching bigger audiences.

If you got inspired from this idea, remember – the creative should always be in balance with practical. Or, in other words – make sure it’s clear what the product is, what it is for, and how to use it, while watching your creative video.

9. Present delicate products in a pleasant way

For some products it’s impossible to show them in action. They require a more delicate approach.

Like this one:

A good strategy for such products is what you can see in this video. First, show the benefits for the customer (the end result that will be achieved in their lives because of the product).

Second, answer the most common doubts the potential buyers might have (in this video – assurance that they will get instructions on how to use the product).

Third, make customers feel that the product is safe to use and, if anything, they will get all the support from your brand.

10. Show multiple ways to use your product (and inspire)

Picture this: a quick and catchy Amazon video all about your product. No fluff, just cool, real-world ways you can use it. The video shares so many awesome ideas that your customer didn’t even think of before! So, you’re not just tempted to buy it; you’re excited about all the neat things you can do with it.

Like the idea? Then this video is the right inspiration for you:

11. Use humor to engage with customers

We’ll end with a funny example:

Humor is a truly strong tool to make people engage with your brand.

If done correctly, it connects with the customer, makes them feel heard and understood, and leaves a good impression about the brand, setting your product apart from others.

So use humor when it’s appropriate in your Amazon brand videos, and see how your product listing gets new levels of engagement!

These were the 11 examples of Amazon product videos.

We hope you got inspired!
